Leather, Nutella and a new header.

Another 'NEED!' this fall: Leather, and particularly a leather skirt.
Tomboy-vintage-y on the left, Buisiness-ladylike on the right.

I'll just type the recipe here.
Makes 8-10 Cake Roll Lady Finger Nutella Muffins.
  • 3 Eggs
  • 65g Sugar
  • 80g Cake flour
  • 20g Butter, melted
  • 40g Nutella
  • 9 30g Melted chocolate
  • 2-3 Drops vanilla extract
  • 35-50 lady fingers
  • 30-100g melted chocolate
  • Whipped cream

The cake
Sift cake flour and put baking parchment on a baking tray, ±25x30cm (Or even better; a Swiss roll tray).
Mix eggs and sugar for 7-10mins, make sure there are no air-bubbles in it anymore.
Add baking powder in three separate additions, use a spatula. Don’t deflate the batter.
Add melted butter and vanilla extract, fold with the spatula until it’s well blended.
Bake for 10-15mins, make sure the batter won’t get too dry. Use a skewer to check if the cake is done. If it comes out clean, your cake is good.
Remove the sponge cake from the tray, keep the parchment underneath the cake.
Cover the sponge cake with a towel or a plastic bag to keep it moist and let it cool down.
Remove the parchment and put the cake on a new parchment, putting the side with the ‘crust’ down. Spread with 40gNutella, or 30gmelted chocolate.
Roll the cake by lifting up the parchment, Place the rolled cake seam-side down.

The lay-out. (You can also buy a ready-to-eat cake roll and save tons of time.)
Slice the cake in pieces of ±3cm. And put one of them on a clean piece of baking parchment.
Melt the chocolate and dip ½ of the lady fingers in it. Use the rest of the melted chocolate to spread the outside of the cake roll and place the lady fingers against it.
Use a spatula to remove the cake with the lady fingers from the parchment, so the chocolate spill that comes dripping underneath the lady fingers won’t come with the cake. Serve with Whipped cream, ice cream or leftover melted chocolate on top.

And for the banner, I used:
A: Camilla Skovgaard heels, Miu Miu boots, Cutler and Gross glasses, Nixon watch.
D: Givenchy heels, Marni broche, Isabel Marant feather earrings, Monica Vinader earrings.
H: Miu Miu belt, Alexander Wang boots, YSL earrings, Tory Burch flats.

I hope you like it.

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

And I've got no idea how it ends in English.
Haha.

This windy morning I tried to create a couture-y look, but it looks like a toothfairy-costume. 'She just needs a wand.' (Like some judge at Project Runway once said.)
And she looks like she has just swallowed a sock or something.
I'm going to try to draw a real, black-tie gown this afternoon.
And of course, today's WOO.
(I make two outfits for one day, because my computer gets nuts of me saving like a 1000 png's)

And a new lay-out, which I hope you like.
I haven't decided if I like it yet.
