Fall in love with fall in love with fall.

I hate creating titles.

In the next weeks I'm going to tell you what fall pieces you must own (or you must die.) and create two outfits with them.
This week: The cape/poncho.
One in minimal 70's, the other in countryside 70's.

And a new model, which I'll call Miranda for no reason. With an outfit and with a close-up of the boots.
I don't like the way the blue turned out, but whatever. (:

It's one of these weeks...

My head is empty. Sorry sweethearts.
All via Vogue UK
Decided to make a dramatic outfit with some of the best collections from this fall.

It's hard to find nice sunglasses in fall shows.
Same source.
I think I'll stop this weeks WOO. I'm annoyed I can't get good outfits out of it.

Munch, munch.

I like the sound that word makes...
First of all: My favorite bags this season.
The cheapes is "just" €650,00, the most expensive €2.200,00.
(And the smalles one is the most expensive...)

And a new week of outfits.
Which I think is going to be really hard.
Topshop, Topshop, Topshop,
Topshop, Topshop, YSL, Miu Miu.

The first outfit and I already got stuck.

It's too simple. But combinating all those stripes is hard...

Lazy Sunday Pt.II

My Nails last week. (Birds that look like turtles...)

THESE SHOES ARE AWESOME. (Yeah, Dûhh, they are McQueen) They are so over-the-top. But they don't look comfortable, and are not my style. I would love to see someone wearing these. (Those someones aren't called Lady Gaga)

Weddingplanner

Appears to be one ot the coolest jobs ever.
The bride would look like Natalia, the groom like Bastiaan.
Natalia (Vogue UK): Dress:Alexander McQueen, Ballerinas: Giuseppe Zanotti (Check 'm, they're awesome!), Sunglasses: Victoria Beckham, Necklace: Shaun Leane, Ring: Solange Azagury-Patridge.
Total costs: €10.916,00.
Bastiaan (Metal Magazine): Suit: Givenchy, Shirt: Umit Benan, Shoes: Marc Jacobs, Sunglasses: Balmain, Ring: Giles.
Total costs: €2.081,00
The song they would dance on: Vivali - Winter.

Total costs of bride + groom: €12.997,00 (Looking at that price gives heartattacks)
Hmm, Bastiaan looks a little bit like Man In Black. But he's still hot.

New Season...

New things (Trying)
I found my 'ArtRage Starter Edition' back. It's an amazing -but really difficult and frustrating- drawing programme, that makes your drawings look like real drawings.
But the brushes and pens are too difficult to handle for me.
So here you've got Jason Wu fw11/12.
And the pen-and-paper-drawing.

Btw, yesterday it was also a year ago McQueen passed away.

Btw, Jason was the best show I've seen yet.

My Valentine

EMMA COOK.
Dear God, today I saw her on net-a-porter's 'what's new' as a 'new this season'
I TOTALLY LOVE IT.
It's like Marni meets Proenza Schouler meets McQueen and that's like OMGAMAZINGCANTTAKEMYEYESOFF.

Fish.

Ultimate-Awesome-Fish-Song (Aquafresh by Zomby) The song was also at Prada fw09/10

First tried to make lace-like-nails...

Then made them fish-like.

Sorry for the bad quality, my phone has only 1.4Mp.

And my inspiration, together with the song...

Pilar

First I thought a caterpillar was a catering pilar, but then I was eight.
I like the Greeks, and I wanted to do some kind of art-thingy, like I did whit Gustav Klimt to.
After a while I realiced Greek is sooo last season, so it turned out to be a nude-coloured-inspirational-moodboard-with-a-grecian-background. Enjoy.

Hmm. I can't cut out. Nevermind.

The statue is named Discusthrower of Myron.
All credits to designers.

Backstage ss"11

First of all: No nasty comments on the header. It's supposed to be pretty. No Idea what Blogger did to it.
Verry imaginative title...
Christopher Kane: Spooky, cute and beautiful.
Rick Owens: Adoration to Hanne Gaby, pretty-girl-pose in an evil-lady-dress.
Alexander McQueen: Haha. Poor models.
Prada: Shoes this expensive thrown on the ground. Can't get it. But it looks awesome.
Dior: The make-up that deserves this pose and vice-versa.
Dior: I first thought it was model-food.
Rodarte: Do I need to say anything? This picture is pure creativity and beauty.
Lanvin: I've got no Idea what Ming Xi (?) is doing here, but even when she's having an expression like this she's ducking pretty. That deserves a place in this post.

*Gets a stroke*

Okay, I wanted to do a Streetwear versus designer post.
This is what I came up with. I hoped to comfort myself with the thought the designeroutfit would cost the double. But it's 18.24 times as expensive. Do not drop any food on your partyoutfit.

*I know the pieces aren't copies of each other, but the clothing has the same effect.

Streetwear: Necklace, dress, shoes, gloves, panty.

Wich outfit do you prefer?

My Nails look like:

In my dreams. Yuck.
I love 'Alexander McQueen's' nailpolish, this spring/summershow. They're so precicely and complexe and yet so simple and messy. Brilliant.
I wish my nails all were the same size and I wish I could wear nailpolish for more than one day befrore scratching it all off.
Well, enjoy. At least I'm inspired by this pattern, which reminds me in an odd way of MiuMiu f/w 10/11.
