Old Bread Isn't Bad.

Crappy title. Sorry for not posting a couple of days, I had plenty of ideas but when I tried to 'put them on paper' they seemed really weird and ugly and they didn't turn out the way I wanted them to.

A couple of days ago, we ate french toast for lunch, and it inspired me to do some sort of french-toast-bavarois, but I couldn't find nice pictures of french toast and a glass, so I decided to draw it all myself. This is the result:
I know the roasted marshmallow looks poisonous, but everybody knows that a good marshmallow looks like a freaking mushroom. (:
I hope the recipe is clear, though.

And the amount of hairy fashion is getting on my nerves. Every time you watch tv you see spots about woman being happy a product removed the hair from their legs/armpits/downunder, and then fashion gives them all the hair back. I don't get it. The only thing furry should be a fur coat.

It looks like an icebear-cow combination.

€363,27 for a kitty-dressup-kit.

Looks like his wig-coat, but then a little less freaky. It still looks like hair though.

But it's warm, and I guess that's what count because this fall there were a lot of bare legs on the runway, I think those people need a furry overdose to compensate or something.

Sweet Dreams Are Made Of These...

New header, because I dreamt of seeing apples through the water and there was something written on them (Forgot what was written on them, but you get the point.)

And Ibe's outfit, turned into some sort of drawing.
Ibe, I'm sorry for ruining your skirt.

210

210th post, and I like the numbers 21 & 0.
Sorry for not posting for like... a year? I felt so exhausted and empty-minded. But I've shopped today, so I feel much better (:
And since I couldn't find online what I've bought, I've drawn it for you.
H&M Nailpolish (€0,95), skirt (€14,95) and make-up bag (€1,95). (it's transperant, so those ligther bananas/leaves are lighter, 'cause they're on the other side)
C&A Bikini bottom (€9,00) (Hey, Spongebob's city is named Bikini Bottom, never noticed that befrore xD) and Bikini top (€7,00).

And some Woo's I hadn't posted yet.

Mirte and Chocolatemilk

Mirte Maas, Backstage at Stella McCatrney Fall2012
I Hate, hate, hate drawing ears.
My nails. I know there's white polish on my skin, but that comes of after a minute or so and I was too lazy to wait with the picture.
I used 'Safari' #56 (White)
HEMA Top Coat #07 (Transparent)
Maybelline New York Sable Rosé #778 (Chocolatemilk)

TWIGGY

Another old Vogue Paris cover.
Twiggy. Source.

My version.
Twiggy's head is hard to draw.

JEAN.

Jean Shrimpton, Vogue Paris April'63 Source
Drawed in Real Life, coloured with Gimp.
I think I like doing this...

Canon In D Major

No idea what that means, but it sounds expensive.
My summer-collage-doodling:
Marc Jacobs' Daisy, Chloé, Oliver Peoples, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Chloé.

And, my new WOO.

Really, really simplistic outfit for a Saturday, you've got nothing to do except strolling along the beach.

Friday, April 15

I Hate Stripes...

Actually, I don't, but my new Week.Of.Outfits (Which is too long to write, so it'll be WOO) is annoyingly difficult.
And two drawings I made:

(Drawed in Real Life, coloured with Gimp.)

The Fairy Model

Nimue, she's called.
Love that name.

She looks like Nimue, but the light is scary and her chest is looking like some kind of star. Brrr.
Backstage at Prada ss09. I loved that casting.
(Nimue, Ymre, Katrin T, Viktorya S, Giedre, Sigrid)

Heaven

Some kind of fairy-elf-fantasy-illustrational creature. I just had the craving to draw hair like this. You can laugh at me.

And you meet another passion of mine: COOKIESCHOCOLATEANDOTHERSWEETSTUFF. Yeah.
I came up with something that probably looks incredibly delicious in my mind, but tastes disgusting. (If you can even eat it, I think it'll be like 20cm. high if you decide to make it in real.) But I won't hold you back to taste this brilliant -uhum- obsession.

Here Comes The Sun.

Some kind of crappy-weird drawing.
Tried to let the models 'dance' like in the Prada ss"11 campaign. But I can't dance, so I dídn't know how a body looks like when it's dancing. Haha.

Background: Shirt Prada, Skirt Prada.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

Tuesday, March 1

Love that name.

Querelle...
She's Dutch, btw.
The image that inspired me. (Except in my magazine, the bag is green. Hmm.)
(Miu Miu ss"11, Querelle Jansen, by Mert&Marcus. Source.)

Hmm. She looks old. I did this at school because my German-teacher wasn't there.

Blues.

Yeah. Most of the fall11/12 shows are disappointing. Maybe I'll understand them later.
For now, my three favorites this far. (With exception of the Rodarte jumper, I realise) .
(?, Jac Jagaciak (?), Valerija Kelava)

First did them on paper, then coloured with Gimp. I think I like the effect.

Friday, February 18

Double D.

Dutch Daphne. Or Something. Didn't know a better title (':
Tried again to draw Daphne, Failed again.
*By the time I had to do the ears and hair I didn't feel like it anymore, so those pieces (and the turtleneck and the ehm. -where are they- eyebrows) are a little bit sloppy.
Backstage at Jason Wu, via Model's Of the Minute.

Btw: From Saturday till ehm. Saturday or so I'll be on vacation. Au revoir ♥

New Season...

New things (Trying)
I found my 'ArtRage Starter Edition' back. It's an amazing -but really difficult and frustrating- drawing programme, that makes your drawings look like real drawings.
But the brushes and pens are too difficult to handle for me.
So here you've got Jason Wu fw11/12.
And the pen-and-paper-drawing.

Btw, yesterday it was also a year ago McQueen passed away.

Btw, Jason was the best show I've seen yet.

Manga

I love manga. My favorites are Nana and One Piece.
And today I drew my version of a Manga-head-thingy. (Because I borrowed a manga-book of a teacher, and this is her 'Thank you')
The head, and a close-up of the eyes.
